IFS helps Sanitec to go live

Sanitec, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of bathroom ceramics and bath and shower products, has recently gone live on IFS Applications in its Nordic subsidiaries. The solution will streamline the company’s operations, with increased focus on add-on sales and customer benefit that will support the company’s purchasing, sales and manufacturing processes.

Sanitec is one of the biggest players in the global bathroom products markets, with 27 production units throughout Europe, and has been an IFS customer since 1998 via Ifö, a subsidiary. The company has now upgraded and expanded its solution from IFS with components for financials, sales, logistics, and maintenance in all its Nordic subsidiaries, and replaced its manufacturing software with the manufacturing solution from IFS. Recently, Sanitec went live with IFS Applications at its subsidiaries Ifö (Sweden), IDO (Finland) and Porsgrund (Norway) after a successful implementation project.

“We are very satisfied with the IFS Applications go live, one of Sanitec’s most successful implementation projects ever,” Frida Norrbom, Managing Director of Ifö/IDO, said. “We managed to go live with an advanced solution in three different countries within the given time frame with a parallel, common start at all six sites.”

All the Nordic companies in the Sanitec Group now use the same solution from IFS. This enables standardization and greater efficiency between the subsidiaries, which Sanitec considers a prerequisite for successful future growth.
